NECN being simulcast on NBC Sports Boston

NECN is now being simulcast on NBC Sports Boston from 7AM-9:30AM. It must have something to do with the lack of sports due to the COIVD-19 Emergency. I saw it on my program guide and when I tuned in at the start of the 7:30AM half hour the anchor said "Welcome to NECN and to the viewers joining us on NBC Sports Boston." There are no NECN graphics on the screen. Just the NBC Sports Boston logo in the bottom right corner of the screen.

It's nice to see NECN since my family is a COX Subscriber and COX refuses to carry the network. (Same for our old provider DirecTV).
 
COX dosen't carry NECN because COX refuses to carry it.

DirectTV dosen't carry NECN because NECN refuses to makle it available.

NECN is not the channel that it used to be.

During major weekend new events where 4,5,7,10,and 25 are on the scene NECN runs informericals
