Ned Foster to retire November 25

A big Buckeye Boyz tip of the fez to Ned. Anyone who can hang in at one station for that period of time is all right by us!

Uh...remove 92.3 from the pre-sets once and for all and give KJZZ or/and KWSS-LP a chance?

Do any remaining on-air staff have any concept how entertaining - how funny - KTAR used to be before they traded legit 'talk radio' for Ramsey and brokered infomercials? Ned's one of the only grown-ups left over there. I'm sure it will be...cue the anticipation...another brand new day at KTAR once he signs off.
 
I have a 78 RPM record of an interview with my wounded father after he arrived in Pearl Harbor from the Leyte invasion in 1945. It is one of those very hard vinyl records that plays from the inside out and apparently was the recording broadcast on KTAR sometime early in 1945. That was the last time I listened to KTAR.

If you include TV, that has to be Dave Munsey of Channel 10. Didn't he hit 40 years this year?

Dave. my neighbor, did hit his 40th anniversary in Phoenix radio/TV this year. I used to listen to his KOOL radio show with Jeanne Sedello back in the 80's. He has been at channel 10 for a long time now though and I don't think still on the radio during that time.
