I hosted a morning show that was pretty popular in a small market in Georgia. I was let go from that position about a year and a half ago. The show was heavy on audience participation with well over 60 regular and semi-regular callers who became popular with the audience...kids, seniors..men, women...I had a little bit of everything.

My idea is to do a reunion show and catch up with these callers and see whats up in their lives. I have been told the boss who let me go probably wouldn't be interested in my Prime Time Reunion....so I am going to try to get it on the other station in town. All my old listeners who have heard about my idea say they like the idea and would listen no matter what time it was on. I think it would be a fairly easy sell.

This would be a one time deal...but maybe it could spin off into a weekly deal. My plan is to go to the radio station and try to buy a four hour block of airtime on a weeknight after 6 or 7.

In general...how much is this airtime worth?...the station is on automation at this time....and probably is only running run of schedule spots or maybe even freebies.
