Need equipment/engineering advice

I recently purchased a Telfax TFX-131B remote mixer, and need to either find a new 12-cell rechargeable battery pack, or have the current one rebuilt. Any suggestions on where to look to do either one? Thanks...
 
Most cities have at least one place that rebuilds battery packs. Around here it is Interstate Battery, Batteries + and Tri-State Battery (www.toughbatteries.com). Despite what the case looks like, the cells found inside are fairly universal. My suggestionis to get out the old Yellow Pages and look under "Batteries."
 
Probably can find a local electronic parts house that does rebuilds, too.
