Need Help _ Advice on Jingle Company

We have been running the same jingles for about 5 years and need a change. The company that produced them offered the package at a great price and at a full buy-out. The truth is we were very pleased with them.

We may have them produce our next jingle package but want to see what else is available by way of other companies. If you have company recommendations I would appreciate it.

My preference is that Creative Radio has a package to suit our needs but if not maybe they can design a package based on the template of another company's jingle package and thereby we get the savings and a quality package.

Today, I did listen to a Radio Scape jingle package (KTIS) that was impressive.

thanks for your help in this matter. Josh

I think it really depends on your format. The Creative Radio stuff may be affordable, I'm not sure, but it does sound a little dated to my ear. TMStudios and ReelWorld both offer great packages and several different price plans, including barter.

I've been very happy with using RadioScape for the past 4 years or so. Only thing I am not too thrilled about is now they are trying to hit me up for renewal fees. I'd rather dump the jingles than have to pay for them again. Isn't 50% renewal rate a little high? I've used TM/Dragonfly before and never had to do any renewals. I have priced Reelworld and they are at least $500 a cut, and the barter is not available to all stations.

Try Benztown Branding, a Germany based production group, with offices in L.A, offers imaging and jingles on barter (and cash I'm sure). Not sure what kind of jingles you want... BB specializes in CHR but I'm sure can do others. Inquire with Masa Patterson at [email protected]

Not seeing any jingles on their website. Got a link?

Check out iqbeats.com. Michael Berlin and his crew do mostly packages for Europe and Canada. They are excellent, though and great to work with. I believe they are some of the folks that were originally at ReelWorld and started their own studio.

Best on the planet, hands down it's JAM and they do barter as well. Unless you're a CHR I'd stay away from Reel World, their product is in my opinion below standard in many ways outside of that format from talent to production with way too much modern technology (effects) being used in most cases.

the benztown guys' jingle site that chuck is talking about is here:

www.soundquadrat.de

they did the MYfm package for LA a few years ago.

If you like, please check out dksound.com

We're a jingle company out of Copenhagen, Denmark

...And I promise this will be the only blatant blowing of our own horn on this forum.

Cheers!
