Need Help! Crazy request...

I'm DJ-ing my 8th grade daughter's "Promotion Dance" next month! Unbelievable. She's not liking it! She thinks I'm too old for this music. ;) This board can help make sure I hit the target. I need your opinion on the best MAINSTREAM TOP 40 dance-able tunes out there. (Even the best remixes of familiar songs). I have ideas but want to make sure I'm on target. Your suggestions will help with the playlist. Think JR. HI girl's music. They don't know 94.5 The Vibe. (Though there's nothing wrong with Vibe music!) Thanks for the expert help. Looking forward to developing this playlist. ;D

Looks like my 13 year old daughter will also go through life as I have, with most DJs
carefully steering around all types of music I find interesting, enjoyable, or dance-able.

I showed her the list of songs in the above messages and was quietly proud when she rolled her eyes.

This is the type of music that usually works best with a mainstream crowd, especially young teens.
That's not to say in the least that all teens are into it, but odds are most 13 year old females, especially in the US (especially in Midwestern cities like Champaign) are NOT into
BT
Tiesto
Kim Sozzi
Faithless
Bob Sinclar

Also, unlike the mid 90s or late 80s, a lot of these kids are not big on Hard Rock or Alternative Rock either, which used to go down pretty well at some parties.
So that long list above that I'd posted makes the most sense. ::) ::) ::)
What you can always do though is consult with the teens what type of music usually gets played at their parties.

I get the same role of the eyes when my Vibe/Energy 98 intensive sound comes out of my ipod. I think she secretly likes the dance beats! Would never admit it though! ;)
