Need help finding a smooth jazz song heard on old smooth jazz radio station

Hi,

I heard a smooth jazz instrumental song back in 1995 or 1996 on the old defunct KCJZ Smooth Jazz 106.7 San Antonio radio station. I have been searching for the artist and song title ever since and have been unable to find it. I made two recordings of the melody, one that I hummed and recorded and then a second recording where I played part of the melody using an online keyboard recorder.

Here are the youtube links to the melody:

Would you be able to help me identify the artist and song title for this song? You can rule out everything beyond the year 1999. There were no vocals in the piece and it sounded like some songs by Paul Hardcastle, Lee Ritenour, Ken Navarro, and Spyro Gyra. Other smooth jazz artists from the period 1990-1996 that come to mind include Bob James, Richard Elliott, Fattburger, Acoustic Alchemy, Art of Noise, Chuck Mangione, Jeff Lorber, George Benson, Peter White, Russ Freeman/Rippingtons, Kevin Toney, NiteFlyte, Keiko Matsui, Chuck Loeb, Larry Carlton, Kenny G, Boney James, Shakatak, David Benoit, Dave Grusin, Artie Traum, Marc Antoine, Chet Baker, 3rd Force.. I'm sure there are many others but that's all I could think of off the top of my head.

I would really appreciate your help in this and look forward to your response.

Thank you
-Graupel
