Need Help: IceCast streaming - Omnia A/XE or Orban

Nayan when I suggested turning down the Orban, I was using engineering shorthand for slowing down the processing parameters, which could be any mix of input level, release time, equalization, etc.

I'll step aside to let more qualified folks contribute. Again, for me the Omnia stream sounds much better, but there are so many variables, such as your intended end-use -- which could be anything from background audio, to listeners with ear-buds on an airplane, to a guy like me blasting the neighborhood with a pair of JBL 4411's.

I will say that when I ran the Omnia stream playing The Who's 5:15 through a copy of StereoTool... well that was just somethin' to hear !
