Need help ID'ing 1170 Gospel Music Station

My Location: Cincinnati Area
When: Tonight 1/28/2010, between 7:40PM & 9:00PM Eastern

Around 8:30 PM Eastern I punched in 1170 and heard a station playing gospel music, a mix of traditional Black gospel and an occasional modern Black christian song. After every second song, they would I.D. with a phrase I couldn't understand, followed by "AM 1160". Most ot the time the signal was moderate to strong, with fading every 5 to 10 minutes. The best signal was generated when my antenna was pointed in a 135/315 direction.

At 9:00 P.M., the transmitter abruptly shut down in the middle of a song.

I thought I heard Memphis mentioned, but I can't be sure. I don't think it was WPLX in Germantown, TN as it is a daytime only, and is listed as Contemporary Christian in the AM logbook. The music I was hearing was definitely 100% Black gospel.

I looked up both NRC's LogBook pages and AMlogbook website and found no 1170 playing black gospel. I am thinking it may be WRPM (not far from the Gulf coast). Radio-Locator says its "Gospel Favorites."

I got an ID today during sunset skip.

WQVA in Lexington SC. They are listed as non-directional, 10KW days with 2.5KW during critical hours. Why they were on last night until 9PM on what may have been day power, I don't know. I won't tell though.

What threw me is that they are listed as Spanish CHR in the AMlogbook.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I finally went to the place I should have looked in the first place, my official Excel logbook.

I show that I had and I.D. at 6:00PM signoff back on Jan 09, 2009. Noted that they were playing Gospel music. Now I'm wondering if my I.D. was really 2010, and I just made an input error.

I know I should remember something that recent, but I'm old and my brain is nearly full, so I have to move things around to find storage space and I sometimes forget both where I put what I moved and what I put in its place. But thats no ones concern but my own.

I just heard WQVA this morning at 8:20 EST playing black gospel music and it was right above WWVA, and I heard a lady say the call letters.
