Last night here in a Philly, a spanish station (playing music at the time), came booming in over 1210 WPHT.

This couldn't have been WHOY out of Salinas, PR...could it? I've been getting a lot of Cuba and the Caribbean, but nothing ever from anywhere except WPHT on 1210.

Anyone think they could confirm this one?
______________

With the way the Caribbean has been booming in for the past week or so, Puerto Rico is a distinct possibility, but it could be WNMA-Miami Springs, FL as well, especially if this was right at sunset.

No, it was at around 11:30PM.

If given the choice between the two, I'd lean more toward WHOY. 'NMA is nulled harshly to the south at night while 'HOY shoots northeastward (plus is a little more powerful).

Thank you for the great thought with WNMA, though, but I think I'm about ready to log this one as WHOY...unless there's someone else with an idea? :)
______________

My bet is on WHOY I can just barely hear them in the backgroud over KGYN out of Guymon, Oklahoma.
