Need Help on a Broadcast Date

I recently came across a tape containing some stuff from the '80s and I am baffled at one partial recording found on it.

It was a recording done off CKVR Channel 3 Barrie, Ontario, and the movie shown at the time was called Showdown at Boot Hill from 1958. I'm wondering when it aired and was it a late night movie. And I have the timeline narrowed: Between October 15, 1986 and February 22, 1987.

I thoroughly apologize for the darkness of the source picture, but that's the way it was. You CAN make out the on-screen station ID however.
