Need Help to ID 95.3

I live in the Acworth area. The last 2 days I have picking up a radio station on 95.3. I have yet to hear a station ID, so have no idea who/where it is coming from. I am thinking an LP or pirate station.

The sound quality is excellent. The music being played is all Christmas music, but rather nice, not your typical 'holiday sound'. Some artist heard, Sinatra, Bennett, Chicago, and surprisingly, Maroon 5..again, all Holiday songs.

Comes in nice on every radio..so not a fluke. I may take a ride today and see how long it stays with the car.

At first, I thought it may come from Rome, Chattanooga, Alabama..but a search on Radio-locator shows nothing on 95.3

Any thoughts? ???

In the past there has been something called "Cornerbrook" radio---or something like that. (It is the name of a subdivision that escapes me right now). They sometimes run shows that kids have recorded, or they run Christmas music. The last time I heard them was on 95.3, and it covered quite a bit of real-estate!

I am in Acworth as well, and I would guess that this is what you are hearing. Generally it is stronger as you get over toward Highway 41. Its a semi pirate.

Re: Need Help is WGGR-LP in Carolton Ga

its the only one could be as the outher 60 db contor are to farr east Ga 21 watts is low but seem that is the one...........Allen :D

Who or whatever they were, they stopped broadcasting

95.3 is now dead. I have to assume some adventurous 'pirate' sharing some Holiday cheer for his neighbors by broadcasting 24/7 Holiday music...guess we will wait to see what happens this Christmas...had some good tunes going, I must say
:D
