NEED HELP WITH SOME MUSIC HEARD ON WLIR-Garden City, NY...........

Okay, I'm a little desparate. This is prob not the place for trying to ID a song but I would like to know if anyone remembers a song played around the last week of July 2001 on WLIR-92.7 (at that time). It was a dance track but not like a poppy bubble-gum dance track as 'LIR tried to stay away from. It was an awsome club song that consisted of multiple operatic, etherial, very celestial female opera vocals all throughout. It was beautiful. There were virually know (undertandable) lyrics so, for years and years, this has been the hardest song to describe to people. I have looked everywhere. And have downloaded so many tracks of dance tracks with operatic vocals by like (Harajuku, Charlotte Church, Opera Trance, Operatica, etc.) STILL NONE OF THESE are what I heard. Any thoughts? MANY THANKS!

Might have been "Castles in the Sky" (don't remember the artist's name)? If not, call Andre at WLIR- he was MD at the time I believe...

Posting with a new profile name (former neo11) since for some reason the old username was not allowing me any of the options to post, respond, etc.Anyhow, I think the song you're looking for is: Jonathan Powers feat. Luminaire - Flower Duet '99.Let me know if I was correct ;)

Hey, neo911! THANKS SO SO SO MUCH!!! You were right! LUMINARE f/ Jonathan Peters - "Flower Duet '99"I found it and all of the club mixes to go with it.I originally heard it at a friend's house in Westchester I was hanging with (when I used to live in NYC) and WLIR played one early Sunday morning in July/August of 2001. I never called the station and for yeeeeeeears I've been searching for it. D'you know how hard it is when everyone asked me, "Well, how does the song go?"aaaaahhhhh-eee-eee-eee.......ahhhh.........(whatever!) Anyway, thanks!Peace.

Thanks. I would have been stumped too had you not mentioned the female operatic voice throughout the song and the lack of lyrics. Interestingly enough, I also heard that song on the old WLIR, and the yes.net (at the time) song tracker did not record it...I don't recall how I ended up finding out what the song was (may have called up Andre or whoever was on the air when I caught them airing it again)....but I was busting my head for months trying to find it, that's for sure!
