Ok, I'm happily married, thirty years this month. What I NEED is great female VOICES.
I handle production for WKBC AM/FM in North Wilkesboro NC. The FM is a 100 kilowatt flame-thrower that's still locally owned. WKBC FM has one of the GREAT signals in the southeast, good for about 100 miles in most directions, and reaching the Charlotte and Greensboro/Raleigh metros. Our FM was voted "Station of the Year" by Charlotte's Creative Loafing magazine, despite the fact that we're 70 miles north of Charlotte, and don't even advertise there. The AM a local, community based country station that's still serving it's community, and doing it well.
I'm looking for voice-work only, dry reads. I'll put together the finished spot. Which should make the amount of money being offered more in-line...20 dollars per spot, 60 or 30.
Here's the deal.
You'll get copy from me, e-mailed, which I'll expect to be turned-around sometimes very quickly...within 24 hours...perhaps less in an emergency (there aren't many emergencies). You'll return your voice-work to me as a high bitrate mp3 file, and I'll handle editing and production of the final commercial. I'm looking for detail-oriented people, who work efficiently. I need GREAT sound quality. No "popped" ps, sibilant s's, etc.
Please, if you have a strong regional accent, if you "announce" rather than communicating, or if you're not capable of ACTING, rather than just reading words, well I'm looking for someting more polished. I know I'm not paying much, but I'm working with some great people...award winning, in fact. They consider it worth their while because I'm not ASKING for much in terms of production. Just dry-reads, delivered well, no fuss, no muss.
