Need some help

I have recently re-located to the Duluth area after having spent nearly thirty years in radio below the gnat line. I am not naive to think any of the big boys in Atl will even talk to me since I don't have New York, Chicago or Los Angeles on my resume. Are there any good stations within say 20-30 miles of Duluth that might be welcoming resumes or will at least acknowledge receiving them?
If you want to keep your replies off board, you can email me direct at [email protected].
Thanks for the info and feedback!

I don't have anything close to Chicago's size on my resume...nor to most of the people I work with. If someone's looking for staff, and you've got the chops, you've got just a good of a chance as someone from WHTZ, KROQ, or WLS. You've been in the biz, you should know that!

You could try WDUN, AM 1240 WGGA, and Majic 1029 in Gainsville. They're owned by Jacobs Broadcasting, and Joel Williams is the PD for at least two of them.

Good Luck!

Agreed. WDUN is one of the best stations in Georgia, with perhaps the largest news team in the state outside of Atlanta.
