Need the best NAC steaming stn. for current music

Guys...Would appreciate your opinions: I'm seeking to listen on-line to a current-based NAC station.

Not one that plays 150 current tracks....not one that plays 30 current tracks...90% of which have been on a current chart for 6 to 9 months.

Kinda middle-ground...normal version of the format...if there is such thing as a normal format these days.

Is there such an NAC current-based streaming station that avoids the two extremes?

Thanks,

Tim, Ohio

Hey Tim. I pay no attention to charts, or singles for that matter. I will go deep on new CDs immediately if the vibe is good and works with the overall "sound" of my station. I do keep about 250 currents (about 5% of my playlist) in an enhanced/weighted rotation for about a 6-9 month period, then the "keepers" go into other folders whose cuts roll out less frequently. I love NAC era tunes, and they comprise a sizeable portion of my overall playlist. But rolling them out without a solid programming strategy/logic, i.e., without changing pace with tempo, select vocals, currents, and incorporating other forms of contemporary instrumental music (e.g. Chill) can make for a predictable and old/stale sound that several diehard listeners on this board have complained about in the past. Good luck on your search, and please share your findings with us! :)

I agree 100% Nock!! ;)

And if you tune in now, in addition to the best in NAC and Contemporary Jazz, you'll also hear some delightfully timeless X-Mas music that spans generations.

Keep up the great work Chris!!

And Happy Holidays to all!!
