Need Transformer for ollld Fm transmitter

I have a request from a friend for a spare transformer.

need one that will fit the following:

Rust 5 Kw transmitter, but could use just about any three phase transformer designed to operate on 240 volts and give 5,000 to 6,000 volts D.C.

Thanks!

You might try this company:

The replacement transformer should not deliver more voltage than the original so as to avoid over-stressing the reactor and filter capacitors.
I'm guessing that the old transmitter uses six rectifiers in a 3 phase, full wave configuration. The HV supply probably delivers around 5200-5400 VDC.

More information would be helpful. DC rating of the filter capacitors?

Would you ask your friend to take a high resolution photo of the transmitter?
I might be able to come up with some additional information for him.
He can email the photo to me at [email protected]
