Negotiating a contract with Sirius

The wife's car came with 4 months' paid Sirius. It's almost over and we're getting subscription renewals. I won't pay the $15/month they ask. What is their responsiveness to agreeing to a lower fee? Can they be reached by phone? Thanks ahead of time.

You can talk them down. I renewed for a year for $85.00. Thats about $7/mth. That is well worth it to me to get commerical free radio.

Negotiating a contract with Sirius 2.0

Early on, Sirius snail mails suscription renewal offers, for full price. Ignore them and wait until the last week, when better prices are offered and then call up and negotiate.

When I threatened to cancel over the left wing political talk that crept into my favorite channel (Deep Tracks), they offered me that same lower rate. I took it, of course, because I am a greedy Republican. ;D
