Neo Soul 24/7

Other than WENN, has any other radio station tried Neo-Soul as a 24/7/365 format. Would a station on a big stick be willing to make a go at it?

I think the only thing that MAY be left is WVEE HD 2 in Atlanta. Also,I don't even know if they are still on air since they don't stream. I would really like to see this happen, but not sure it ever will again. In the mean time,I stream online stations like:Neo souł cafe, rhythmandsoul radio, project vibe, and swank society radio.

Hi! How are You? Xmportable, WVEE In Atlanta, They are streaming, They are a CBS Affiliate, but those like me living outside the USA can not listen, because CBS do not allowed Us from Canada and all the other Countries except the USA, to listen, it is very sad and upsetting though. I am not a big Neo-Soul fan though, but I prefer Smooth Jazz and Smooth Vocal and Smooth Lounge and Quiet Storm and Old School R&B and Classics, I am listening to Synthpop also and a few Rock cuts here and there.
Those Who wants to know How much Radio Stations are playing Neo-Soul, can go to Tunein, They can get some information there, Tunein are a wealth of a place for information like that. Take care!

I know WVEE streams ,I was talking about their WVEE HD 2 signal. The HD2 signal supposedly plays 24/7 Neo-soul.However,they do not stream.

Salem, I am PRAYING for a station like that. I am a HUGE Neo-Soul fan, but when it comes to radio, I feel like I'm left out in the cold, but still, I never give up hope. As you already know, I'm still missing the Neo-Soul format that KRNB had back in 2001....

It would be nice, but can you sell it? Unfortunately its a format for internet radio, IMO.

1) WPAL 100.9 Ridgeville, SC, targeting Charleston. IIRC, it was a longtime urban station that programmed an all/mostly neo-soul format before succumbing to financial difficulties. Now its contemporary Christian WAY-FM (WAYA).

2) Too niche, if that moniker means much anymore. IMO, WENN could be accused of reaching a little in terms of actual purity of that sound.

I recommend ProjectVibe Radio, which once had a much nicer website with artist info--it may have been 'under construction' for years. Very smooth eclectic sound, though I haven't been a regular listener for some time. I'm glad its still running, though.

http://www.itsmobetta.com/ and www.neosoulcafe.com are my favorites.

Here's other's I have discovered on TUNEIN:

JazzySoul Radio: Really like this one, they play solid neosoul.

BlackMartini Radio: This one is good too, but goes housy like swank Society.

Basement Soul: Not solid Neo, but they play all genre's of black music with schedule on their website.
