Sounds like an allergy medication. And I know just where to stick it. What the hell are they thinking?

If I was not so disgusted by this, I would be amused. I guess this is how rich people play. Hey C, good luck. I'll dedicate an hour of programming to you. Where do I send my check, err cash?

Opera version of Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On," partially in French, on "Neo Breeze"

Talk about Daring to be different

Ouch - I'd rather have my TEETH drilled than listen to that. Wow... It's a good thing my new car has a "mute" button for the radio, oh, wait, it's not like I can GET the station or that I'd even listen anyway...

So who wants to place bets on how long this will last for...?

It gets better: "Goldfinger" by Shirley Bassey on Neobreeze, right after Celine Dion

That's an interesting format. Of course, it's not the one they announce in the press release ("an AC/Chill hybrid format featuring artists such as Jeff Buckley, Maxwell and Norah Jones," but hey.)

Reading these threads is most painful, and everyone that could still hear LIR has my sympathies.
______________
...in my day, you could tell the stations apart by the music they played!

An Opera version of "My Heart Will Go On"? Damn. That's just as bad as a dance version. KISS 95.7 in Hartford used to play the Dance Version during the KISS Club and the regular version during the rest of the day.

I think that they should have put a Hot AC station on 107.1 Something like island 94.3 80's , 90's and today. The closest thing we have is 96.5 WTIC and that gets alot of bleed from 96.7 out here on the east end. Just a thought

If they could go with Hot AC, maybe they could have picked up the final format of the 92.7 version of LIR, which especially during the day was Hot AC-ish with an LIR edge...IMO better than any bland, cookie-cutter Hot AC.
