Personally, I’ve become pescatarian.
This has been proven not to be so. Look at all the unverified items about Trump that "made the press" in regards to things like...
My issue is with completely biased coverage.
Only two broadcast news organizations in modern times have admitted to lying in their reporting and paid multimillion dollar settlements as a result: FOX News and Newsmax.
You don't actually seem to have an issue with that. Your issue is with broadcasters who report things you don't like because of your political leanings. See above for actual bias leading to real consequences.

Not if Carr auctions off the rest of the TV spectrum. The one thing I know: The revolution will be televised.
Coming soon:Not if Carr auctions off the rest of the TV spectrum.

It seems the unstated purpose of Carr's investigations is to show how everyone else is just as bad as Fox and Newsmaxx, That way you discredit all of media as a whole, so the people only believe one person. You know who.
The difference being that the FCC wasn't the one going after Fox and Newsmax, it was a civil lawsuit from the company they slandered. The FCC isn't supposed to regulate content because of a little thing called the First Amendment. Supposedly it still exists, but the branch that's supposed to enforce it is stocked with Trump loyalists now, so who knows?
In less than 4 weeks? It is amazing that anyone would expect any kind of immediate change over what took 4 years to put into effect. What happened to those low grocery prices?
Yet for decades and decades they have regulated obscenity and profanity. "Lowest Unit Rate" requires FCC control over ad rates for certain campaigns. Stations must do a certain amount of public affairs and "other" programming. There are, in fact, quire a few limitations on unabridged speech. The difference being that the FCC wasn't the one going after Fox and Newsmax, it was a civil lawsuit from the company they slandered. What we are seeing now is an attempt to regulate "false" reporting. The intentional editing of a Kamala Harris interview is the hill they are attempting to attack, but the attack is being done by someone who obviously has not a single clue on how newscasts and the like are edited due to time restraints.Supposedly it still exists, but the branch that's supposed to enforce it is stocked with Trump loyalists now, so who knows?

Great. Auctioning 3.98 - 4.2 GHz would completely eliminate all remaining C-band satellite television and radio spectrum. C-band would cease to be a thing, and all of its users would be forced to spend untold millions converting their operations over to Ku-band. There might be enough room for that in 5-10 years, after all the linear cable networks have died off and their gargantuan multiplexes, currently scattered all over C-band for the cable industry, have ceased. But not now.Coming soon:

Do you know how much this will cost the satellite companies?Did you see how much money these auctions bring in?
Right-wing caterwauling is not proof. This has been proven not to be so.
This nonsense never made mainstream press.Look at all the unverified items about Trump that "made the press" in regards to things like seeing prostitutes in Russia.
The thing that was covered repeatedly throughout the campaign while the exact same behavior in the first and now second Trump administration garners barely a notice?Look at Hillary's unsecured computer.
Cover-up? It was daily freaking news all over the Times, Post and elsewhere. And do we really, really want to talk ignoring obvious capacity issues when the current president is a blithering moron?Look at the total cover-up of Biden's obvious and visible capacity.
Remind us which mainstream media outlets dug into Jared’s multi-billion dollar payoff from the Saudis?Look at Hunter's involvement with foreign governments while traveling with his father.
Cool. Were those signatures from media outlets? All these items were minimized; the laptop item was declared a ruse with dozens of signatures on the declaration.
They were all reported on extensively. No one minimized a damn thing. My point is that the so-called "establishment media" minimized or denied these things... and others...
They have and continue to this day to downplay his abject lunacy and incoherence as at most mild and Amusing eccentricity. Making Canada a state. Taking over Gaza. The demonstrable lies they continue to tiptoe around with euphemisms like “claiming without evidence.”while exaggerating items regarding President Trump.
The thing that doesn’t exist except in the fever dreams of the far right. My issue is with completely biased coverage.
Nice try but no. I believe that facts are real. They are not conservative nor liberal. It is as the saying goes not the job of the media to present both sides of a debate over whether it’s raining. It’s to report the fact that it’s raining. You believe that media that does not reflect your perspective is inherently wrong.
Setting aside that none of us have data on every single reporter, it does no such thing. That’s a tired old trope trotted out to obscure that facts are not political. The fact that a high percentage of reporters and editors all belong to the same party and so few belong to the other one creates an inherent bias.
ImaginaryA theoretical
It’s entirely relevant to the imaginary story. And your imaginary story automatically assumes the exact same thing would be ignored were a supposed “favorable” politician in the same fantasy scenario. Convenient how you left that hypothetical out as if it proved something.example: A member of the party journalists do not favor makes a statement about safe driving. The story includes a paragraph that says, "and Senator Jones, who himself was detained by police for suspicion of drunk driving in 1986, stated he supports increased sanctions on bad drivers". In such a case, a potentially negative item is introduced despite its total irrelevancy to the current news item, to make the opinion of one person seem of less value.
Congratulations. You’re hardly the only person who took that course.I have heard, read or seen many such "flavorings" of the news in recent years. Yet doing such acts is one of the things that Journalism 101 teaches you. And, yes, I took that class in 1962 as an advanced class for High School pre-enrollees at Michigan State.
By wholesale, indiscriminate firings and shutdowns of things the president and his puppet Trump dislike. Waste is real. So are the people who will die for lack of aid. So are the students with special needs and IEPs who will be left behind by the wholesale destruction of the department of education. So are the consumers who will lose protections from predatory financial institutions. And so are god knows who else will suffer from whatever fresh destruction today brings. The removal of unnecessary outside consultants is a cost saving. Government, everywhere in the world, tends to expand on the taxpayer's dollar or peso or pound and there needs to be an effort to reduce unneeded, duplicated or absurd agencies and activities.
Or, and hear this out, it’s a comparison with very strong parallels to something we’ve seen before. Sorrynotsorry those comparisons and direct analogies aren’t your favorite things to hear. You can pretend they don’t exist all you want; it makes it no less true.Of course, the mention of Hitler or the Third Reich or the Nazis invokes Godwin's Law.
Many of them hold the extremist ideology.I pray for the people of this country who thought they were voting for "change" and instead are getting extremist ideology.
For damn sure. McCarthyism will look like a cakewalk by comparison. This country has been down this road before. I've studied the history and I know what happens next. It's not going to be pretty.
Hmmm, will it? We’re already seeing the acquiescence of media. I’m not so sure we’ll legitimately see the full scope. There is no obvious Murrow out there who will speak truth to power like he did.The one thing I know: The revolution will be televised.
I'm curious, does news need to be viewed with a left or right lense? Is there a centre line anymore, or has society as a whole, driven by media, moved right?
I was assured Our Lord and Savior Donald Trump, by his presence alone, would lower grocery prices on day 1. I had a Senator telling us daily that as soon as Saint Donald was in the White House, groceries would be affordable. So where's my $1.80 gas.In less than 4 weeks? It is amazing that anyone would expect any kind of immediate change over what took 4 years to put into effect.
What's the definition of far left, other than anyone opposed to Trump? As someone that doesn’t have a political side, the far right and far left talking points are sure out in full force, almost 100 post…
