Nessa, who was roundly criticized here for being too rhythmic sounding for Power 96-1, and I agree with that assessment, has left her home base of iHeart's Wild 94-9 in San Francisco. She has joined Hot 97/New York (Blazin' Hip-Hop & R&B) for afternoon drive. Amazingly, iHeart had her on 25 stations!

Plus she did Girl Code on MTV. There's a new male/female duo at night now. Who are they? I enjoy their chemistry on Power 96-1.
What does it mean when you say she sounded to rhythmic sounding ? Too Ghetto? Just asking.. I do B2B surveys and one of the Supervisors at my job ..(a black man ) said he thought one of our white female researchers sounded too Ghetto the other day..
Mack with Nina and Nick from WHYI/Miami. They're pretty good. I really liked Jeff & Josh from WIOQ/Philadelphia tho. I think they're completely gone from Power as well. Truthfully?? Power needs to stop voice tracking evenings already! They really need a hot sounding (local) voice that's ultra interactive with local Atlanta callers. Makes no sense that they don't have one by now.
