Network Sports opinion question for everyone

Could the economy and the Network ratings get so bad that the three networks(plus ESPN) stop bidding for things like the Summer and Winter Olympics? I think the Economy and ratings could get that bad,wher that could be a possibility.
 
I highly doubt it. Virtually every country worldwide with athletes competing in any given Olympics has TV coverage simply because there will be viewers. That said, even if it isn't ESPN or one of the big four networks, someone will pick it up.
