Mega kudos to the Old Gringo for his now searchable Broadcasting Magazine archive,
which has led me to discover that certain differences occurred during spring/summer
DST periods prior to April 1958.
'58 is when we knew the nets went to a video tape based one-hour in pattern delay for
EST and CST stations. But the links below detail what the nets did during DST in '56 and
'57, including flipping times around, backhauls from the left coast, and (gasp!) hot kinnies.
