Networks seen on more satellites around the world?

Every once in a while, Trinity Broadcasting Network would boast the fact that they're broadcast on 77 satellites around the world through ten networks in various platforms (at one point they also had a shortwave radio feed), and they would show their footprint coverage map as proof of their global outreach. No wonder why they are the world's #1 religious broadcaster!

And they're not the only ones. I think CNN is also on more satellites worldwide (dunno the current count, but not as much as TBN), especially when breaking news occurs. And yes, they're still seen by more viewers worldwide than Fox Noise. Are there any other networks like TBN and CNN that also have multiple satellite coverage outside of North America?

Fox "Noise", as you refer to it, has become increasingly available in other countries over the past few years. Yes, the CNN brand is far more well distributed. However, the CNN that you see here in the USA is generally limited to distribution in North America (as a 24/7 feed). The CNN that most people see beyond the US and Canada is CNN International, which ranks up there with BBC World as being one of the news channels with the widest distribution worldwide. I have seen CNN's domestic feed offered on one of Costa Rica's two cable systems - but nowhere else in Latin America. Everywhere else, it's CNN-I. Yes, certain shows that you see on CNN here are also shown on CNN-I; but for the most part it is a different channel.

And, if I am not mistaken, CNN-I has different feeds to different parts of the world. So, it's broken up even further.

FOX News has one feed that's distributed to North America, South America, Australia/NZ, and (I believe) South Africa. I don't believe that they're offered in Europe or the Middle East as SKY News is their property there. Don't know what Murdoch has for a news channel in Asia.

So, measured that way, the CNN that you see here is actually offered on fewer continents than FOX. Yes, that's merely a technicality, but it's fun to tweak the FNC haters.
