Under the heading of "Never Let the Truth Get in the way of a Good Story", I have heard enough about New Orleans, Hurrican Katrina, and the Superdome. I am tired of local and national talk radio shows talking about "the many murders, deaths, and rapes in the Superdome". Here is a link to an article that appears to be based on facts.

As least it appears to be much more factual and responsible than most of the radio talk show hosts I have heard. This includes some local talk radio hosts such as Heather of the Sport Chix. No, I do not go to the Sport Chix for hard news and facts - but she gets the audience all wound up with her version of the truth - Minus the facts of course. I know she is not alone, but only the last one I heard today. Can't wait for ESPN's coverage tonight. It will be interesting to hear what they have to say.
If you all have facts or information to the contrary, please pass them on. It was difficult to find hard facts and statistics on the web. Most of what I found was from personal blogs which seemed to be very much opinion based.
Thanks for reading my rant!
