Listening to Magic...4:30am...and Rihanna's S.O.S is playing....a Top 40 song I would never expect on there..Usually plays on CHR or Rhythmic...thoughts?

If your station is targeting persons 45+ you have to remember that they grew up listening to the opening days of rock. Not all of them are completely braindead and some of them still have somewhat of a hipness factor. They like to be perceived as being cool to their peers and they want their station of choice to reflect that same hipness. As Eli and MM said, it's called evolution. It's nice to see that Majic has evolved. Maybe that's how Don Kelley has managed to keep Majic in or near Boston's Top 3 consistantly.
