New 10 p.m. meteorologist at KTVT

As reported by our good Uncle Barky (http://www.unclebarky.com/abovethefold_files/d27c251f4828111f521dbc1f39b82718-599.html), KTVT is hiring meteorologist (a real one, not one of the mail-order kind that WFAA thinks suffices in tornado alley). This one is Larry Mowry from the Orlando CBS affiliate.

As one commenter on Uncle Barky pointed out, counting TXA 21, this makes six meteorlogists in the revolving door CBS 11 Weather Center (Garry Seith, Kristine Kahanek, Julie Bologna, Mike Burger, Jeff Jamison and Mowry -- count in freelance weather anchor Charmaine Blanchard and you have seven). Why so many, unless the plan is for someone to leave?

Anyone know anything about Mowry, or what is happening in the CBS 11 weather department? Or, anyone just want to make up something to get the conversation rolling? :)

Bueller? Bueller?

I have a feeling Screech Jamison will be going to TXA 21 F/T come 2008, while Burger maybe the next KTVT employee to be retired...

Didn't they bring Kristine and then start moving Neal Barton out?

OTT, I believe you're correct...

Hey, Julie Bologna and CBS11 could do a "Weather Baby" segment to capitalize, where they put the kiddo in a different diaper for that days/nights forecast (clear/rain/snow/ect..). they did it with Stormy The Weather Dog, why not an infant.

Who was the guy Neal Barton replaced? Seems like they brought in Neal before that guy left as well.

Wasn't that John Honore, who took over for Bob Goosman? I think I saw Honore doing weather in San Antonio.

I may be wrong about the order, but there seems to be a gap between Goosman and Barton, but I've slept since then.
