The union requires a live body in the studio 24/7, but it says nothing about that person being on the air.

I was going by the AFTRA contract at another CBS Radio station. I guess the CBS Radio Boston AFTRA contract is different.

I believe they use non-announcing board-ops weeknight overnights on WZLX, and they also did for WODS's previous Classic Hits format.
