New 106.9 Ft. Walton.

If I read the FCC report correctly, three people will be bidding on the new class A 106.9 in Ft. Walton.
ADX/Cat Country from Pensacola, Holiday from Dothan and an attorney/investor from Pensacola.

Is there a chance that Holiday wants to build a new Ft. Walton cluster? They have plenty of experience in the market.

I think they petitioned the FCC for the allocation. One bidder will write a nice size check to Uncle Sam when it is all said and done.

As I recall, Holiday petitioned for the 106.9 allotment in FWB after they moved WKMX to the Dothan tower.

Since it doesn’t appear that you are bidding, Groovy, what do you think a Class A from the central towers on Hollywood Blvd. in Fort Walton is worth? Maybe $100k?

Depends on how much someone is willing to pay for it. You wont see the multiples for the 90's. Prices are now in correction territory.

Could be 100k, could be 300k? Who knows.
