New 106.9 Lineup - Doghouse On A Short Leash?

Interesting, from AllAccess.com, the official starting lineup for "106.9 Free FM":

6-10a -- JV & ELVIS (formerly with crosstown KYLD)
10-2p -- DARIAN O’TOOLE & CHAD (she's formerly with crosstown KSAN)
2-7p -- JOHN LONDON (formerly with KNBR-A and KMEL)
7-11-p -- TOM LEYKIS
11-3a -- JOHN & JEFF

Ah, but there's more! Still more!

Note this from Infinity head Joel Hollander (again, courtesy of AllAccess):

"KIFR's new lineup that includes THE DOGHOUSE in mornings, is for a '10 week tryout,' according to HOLLANDER, after which CAROLLA will do mornings and THE DOGHOUSE may be retained for a different time slot."

Hmm.

MAY be retained. It's a "10 week tryout".

Instant Rumor?

There's been a lot of facts coming out of this board regarding 106.9 and Infinity in general lately, so let's keep it coming:

Fact: PD John Peake and Gretchen leave Alice.

Rumor: Doghouse on trial basis for a more long-term position.

Rumor: BossRadioDJ mentioned on his <a target="_blank" href=http://www.bayarearadio.org/blog/>blog</a> speculation of Sarah and No Name moving from Alice to Live 105.

Instant Rumor: Infinity blows up Alice in January and moves the Doghouse to mornings.

Just like everything else that's happened in the past few months, there seems to be a lot of loose threads coming together to make a nice sweater.<P ID="signature">______________

Ah, yes, but I stole (sorry, "creatively borrowed") 007's initial rumor about Sarah and No Name, checked it with Two People In A Position To Know (one of whom gave me a long moment of silence, then said "Yeah, that could be what happens") and boom goes the dynamite, as the kids say.

Is it possible to knit a good sweater out of crow feathers, by any chance? There seem to be a lot of them laying around on the floor here today, and January will be here sooner than I expect. Better get to knittin'.

Well, it's almost a fact, really, considering the statement posted above, out of the mouth of the Big Boss himself.

What is not "fact" is what happens to the Doggies after their 10 week "tryout".

It is also quite possible that the Doghouse would stay on 106.9, moving down the schedule to late mornings. Note that John London (according to AllAccess' schedule, at least) is doing a five hour show at the launch...(2-7 PM)
