Tuning around the AM band @ 11:30 AM I came across a fairly strong signal on 1130 Khz. Later heard station ID as "KJSA 'Biz Radio Network', Mineral Wells, Ft Worth,San Antonio. Later in Atilla the Hun show, host welcomed listeners in Conroe and San Antonio. Current program crying about not being able to spend 401K money w/o penalties and bashing liberals while worshiping conservatives. So far sounds like another right wing, spin mastering, lets make excuses for the filthy rich who shouldn't pay taxes, take pay cuts or get laid off format. So much for choices on AM. But then again, what effect will this new station have on the other's ratings/advertising rates? And how long will this translator relay the BRN until it switches over to another religion outlet or english as a second language format?

Biz Radio runs on KTEK 1110 Alvin/Houston and KJSA 1110 Mineral Wells/Fort Worth.

Perhaps they are leasing KTMR 1130 Converse/San Antonio...a move-in from the Victoria area?

I'm not sure where you are buy KTMR is licensed for 25kw from a site just north of Stockdale. One big lobe heads west-northwest toward San Antonio. The other big lobe heads in the opposite direction toward Victoria.
