new 3kw fm licensed to middletown pa

Has anyone heard about this??? 88.7 is the frequency. I heard the calls on the 1/2 hr and missed the calls but heard middletown and read on another radio site that it is a newly allocated frequency

I guess I answered my own question...but whos is 4 rivers community broadcasting. another site told me it was a 3kw maybe that is the erp. i was picking them up near hamburg pa on rt 81 the other day.

204 B FM 88.7 MHz CP MIDDLETOWN PA US BPED-20060605AAB - 87834 7. kW 216. m FOUR RIVERS COMMUNITY BROADCASTING CORPORATION

that is sad that a local interest didn't pick it up like a college or community broadcasting group. the allentown area has a community station wdiy lehigh valley community broadcasting. i don't care for their liberal attitude but they are a local answer to wxpn which i don't care for at all except the 80's show that is so well done by robert drake. i think it is time for a community broadcasting association for the harrisburg area...although it seems like the frequencies are going fast and furious.

here is another one. who's on the new translator on 99.7 that i can pick up well in cumberland county?????

I believe that 99.7 and 88.7 are simulcast..I was listening to it this morning on my way into work...had a dance remix of "Free Ride" that caught my ear...bot ID'd themselves as theWord.

It is a christain rock station that has many repeaters. 88.7 comes in very clear here in the Lancaster area. I stumbled accross it a few weeks ago.

My memory is a little fuzzy.... it might have been either the Newsboys or Audio Adrenaline. It was one of the 90's biggies, but not DC Talk. That's, of course, unless another group didn''t redo it again.

Four Rivers bought an old Quest tower in Hellam, PA across from the WGAL-TV site and are going to broadcast from there if they are not already.
