New 92

Last Friday was Glen Garrett's last air shift @ New 92 did anybody catch it?

If they have gotten rid of Glenn, then it makes me wonder who or what is next. If they are going to stay country, then maybe they ought to go to the bird, it would be more entertaining and let's face it, The Morning rush is as boring as it gets for Columbia morning radio.

There must be something really wrong in the water over there if he left on his own and rankly it does look like the writing is on the wall for something to happen over there.
I wonder who will be doing the morning show or if anyone will be doing it at all.

From what I have heard Glenn has a great non-radio gig. I.e. the hours and pay are better.

Sad to lose him as a talent, but this day and age, steady money and better hours are always good.

Glenn was a p/t voicetracker.

RadoJOJA:

I agree. Phenomenal talent. Even when he was voicetracked. He's the kind of guy young jocks should be taught by.

I definitely agree. I had the pleasure of meeting him years ago at a record signing party and one of the nicest guys yolu will ever meet and one of the greatest announcers that has ever hit the airwaves in Columbia.
