OMG...this is friggin' AWESOME news! I listened to Cindy and Robert everyday on my way to work at The Bone. They were/are my favorite!!! Congrats to them! :)

Alright Bone.........you now have a market name on morning drive, you're the only rocker in town, and you're going into the second year as Cowboys' co-flagship.......It's now or never.

Heard Ted Nugent's "Stranglehold" several times in one week.

Weak

They are stuck on the Mega its and ONLY the hits--- 24 hours a day!!

And BTY, you still can't request songs on The Bone's Website.....

What A Drag...... They really care :-X

Now, I hope Bone would to go more hard rock like KEGL was when they both work at the 97.1. I do not see Scull and Miguel in the classic rock format....they need more new rock hard rock than classic rock music. They are great together....need only music update and THE BONE 93.3 KDBN will go up to maybe a 3.0 share or 3.5.

I'd like that too..... but you know..... I somehow think that the CR format is what management thinks will work best being the Cowboys Flagship station. Yes, I think that everything about the station is being massaged to work with being the Cowboys Football station. So if in mngt's eyes CR is a better fit than Hard Rock with the Cowboys Football format, then that's what it will be. But, maybe I'm wrong about that.

When was a jock able to actually play "requests"? Unless its a specific hour (Drive thru lunch or some crap like the Metal Shop I did) I've always had to follow the playlist I was given. Which sucks. But, I also see why jocks are given a playlist, you can't have jocks playing the same stuff shift to shift. Then again, if I hear Papa Roach "Forever" one more time, I am gonna poke my eye out with a damn pencil. :)

Listen to you! The Metal Shop was certainly *not* crap. I'm not even much of a metalhead, but I greatly liked the show because it a) played music that I had not heard before, b) had an energetic and knowledgeable DJ who sounded like she enjoyed doing the show, and c) entertained while playing great music. The three things that are sorely missing in most radio nowadays.

Why not make a list of "not these" instead of "only these"? Or better yet, set up the computer program to not allow a song to be played more than once in a given amount of time?
