New 95.9 radio station in Austin?

I'm hearing Spanish Christian programming on a 95.9 radio station in Austin over by Highland Mall. After hearing the name and Googling I found the website. http://vidaaustin.com/

They're calling it Radio Vida. I can't find it on Radio Locator or anything. Is it a new translator / LP or a pirate?

It's neither a translator nor a low-power FM. That tends to suggest the remaining choice, but remember it's in Austin, where the preferred term is "micro-broadcaster."

What fun LOL. I bet they might be friends with Radio Ola.

I thought it was a new regular FM at first, audio quality is pretty nice and clean (mono while the carrier is stereo).
But most of the website doesn't work, I get a 404 Not Found covering most of the page except the navigation stuff.

I saw that. I was one of three visitors online a while ago.

And then there's this, as of 1:53PM:

We have 1 visitor online

I guess. Man, since we started talking about it, the station's online cume has really taken a dive.

LOL at least it sounds better than some of the other pirates.

You know, that's right. It's not only entertaining, it's also energetic and has good audio. From what I'm hearing, some of the other ones could learn a few things from them.

If the others speak Spanish, yeah. :p

I won't complain though, the music all sounds pretty upbeat when I've listened (now if I could understand it... LOL).

Can anyone tell if 95.9 in Austin is still broadcasting? The webstream's been down for at least the past few days.

Can't remember if I updated on this forum or not, definitely didn't update in this thread. But when I was back in Austin around August 10th or so 95.9 was broadcasting just silence, it was a dead carrier. I haven't been back since so I'm not sure if it's still a dead carrier. The stream on the other hand, is still live along with the site, and it was live when I was up in Austin.
