New 960 WERC Morning Show in May?

Clicking a news link provided by the "Taylor on Radio-Info" newsletter, I found an interesting tidbit:

Orange County Register radio column

If you'll scroll down toward the end section titled "Station Breaks", you'll note an announcement of a KFI 640 (Los Angeles) news reporter's departure...for Birmingham.

So what'ya gotta do to fall from LA and land in Birmingham (besides wanting to be near family or some such nonsense)? :p

Other than the culture difference, I didn't even give that much of a thought.

Who knows, maybe WERC will craft a show that sticks this time.

I guess a desire to move up from a reporter to an AM drive co-host might be a good reason.
