New Adds on CC stations

I constantly rant about the few adds to SJ playlists. The story on Fox news today kinda answers the question. Clear Channel is being linked to a large payola scam with Sony owned record labels. A $10M fine is leveled against Sony. And it seems CC was the main recipient. You have to pay many of their stations if you want your song on the air. The "pay to be played" rule is very much alive and well. With CC owning many of the SJ stations, it is obvious why the playlists do not expand.

Actually, the payola issue didn't involve any SJ stations.
