New alt. rock station for Long Island

Did Newsday miss the boat here?

This thread may be two weeks too late, but what is Newsday's excuse? How could they let the NY Daily News be the first to report this rare and exciting phenomenon? When you think about it, Newsday has the opportunity to present a legitimate news story about how RadioX is getting done what TMO couldn't. Further, TMO fights Newsday for advertising dollars. It would have made sense for Newsday to cover this very local story well, rather than get scooped by a NYC paper. Unless of course Newsday covered it and I missed it.
