New AM log at sunset 8/25/2011

Logged New #391 tonight.

1320: KCTC Sacramento, CA: Ad for tailgating parties for local sports events in the Sacramento and San Francisco area. Searched for a 1320 in the area, and found KCTC. Distance is 619 miles.

Nice one.

Those graveyards are tough, but if you're in a place far removed such as Hawaii you can really catch some interesting stuff from the mainland.

1320 is not a graveyard channel! ;D 1340 is however.

I guess what I should have said is those lower power stations on crowded frequencies can sometimes carry pretty good distances.

Crainbro....

Do you normally get the 1320 out of Vancouver? They've got a pretty potent signal up there, but I'd assume they're trying to keep most of their juice north of the border. That said, I'd think you'd have a shot at it where you are in the northeast sector of the Seattle metro.

1320 Vancouver did come in at Bothell, and very weakly here in Bellevue. I moved to CN87vo from CN87vt (grid square), so I'm in the the eastern sector now.

Thanks for the info. I'd also guess you might also have more noise sources to deal with in Bellevue than in Bothell.
