New AM Station For Level Plains

Ground breaking has commenced for the tower of a New AM station located in
Level Plains(odd...i thought all plains were level), AL.
It will operate on 1490 @ 1000 watts.
It will be using the old Enterprise AM call of W I R B
Seems strange, investing in a New AM these days. Especially since right up the road is an
AM on 1560 with 5000 watts that has been dark for a year or two.

Oh well, it's their money.
