Haven't been listening but she's on the website. It's Valerie Scott. Bio sez she's worked in Boston, Worcester, Portsmouth NH and Manchester NH. She's listed as being on 3-7 so I guess this means TC doesn't have to track after 10 anymore and McMannequin is middays only? Is she live? Tracked? I'll have to listen.

Looks like the same person and profile as Jessica (weekender) on Boston's Mix 98.5. She was doing fill-ins at Oldies 103.3 this past month. Good for her in getting a full-time gig (if it's her). She seems to be a jock that works at show prep.

That's her. It looks like the exact same picture on the mid website. I've heard her there and she sounds good. I just heard a couple of breaks on B101 and she's fine but why didn't they just stay with Amy Hagan rather than make all these changes then...oh never mind. They make little sense there anyway with constant changes that always leave them back where they were.

So is she actually there on Oxford? At this point I can't see CC rethinking their non local approach to radio with Coast and B101.

Amy had a "history" with Corwin and got let go. Just like Brian Mulhern had a "history" with Corwin and suffered the same fate. Is there a pattern here? New people getting hired at CC Providence are and will continue to be the best they can find for less money than their predecessors from programming down the line to air people. They will be reasonably qualified and good sounding people and the listenership won't really detect much of a difference because if they're listening after morning drive they've been desensitized and just accept the sterility of it all. I don't think many of the young bucks who call themselves PDs today really know what personality radio is and how to motivate a staff to incorporate personality into the format without the format itself being broken and without the station sounding too different from shift to shift. I swear if some of today's PDs at clusters like CC had to deal with programming a live station with a full staff they'd have nervous breakdowns.
