All Access is reporting that Atlanta based morning show "the Regular Guys" will also be on 93.3 The Bone starting Monday. The show airs on sister Cumulus's Rock 100.5 in Atlanta.

TRG aren't burning anything up in ATL and now they'll be watered down a bit for syndication. We'll see...but I'd bet you'll see Walton & Johnson type numbers at best

The last PPM had them at 5th among 18 - 34 on not the greatest of signals and basically was a Classic Rock format until a couple of weeks ago. I think they could do quite fine on an active rock station.
The on air auditions were for pm drive, not mornings. With the addition of the Regular Guys, it appears the "rock" format will remain with a CHR jock in pm drive. I guess nobody remembers how well "Rock 40" DIDN'T do in the 80's.
Changing the calls too? Is KRAP available?

Nothing did well in the 80s beyond very early 80s, 70s and mid to late 60s.

When they were on WKLS a few years back, I would listen to The Regular Guys online on a fairly regular basis. Thought they were better than any morning show in D/FW or Houston. However, I haven't listened since they joined Cumulus. I think the previous predictions are correct.

Sorry Dallas. Our loss is now your loss too. But you Texas secessionists should enjoy several parts of the show. Larry and Eric (and to a lesser extent Steve, but he's not as strident about it) are both ultra-wingnutty, and Ayn Rand enthusiast Eric was one of the "highlights" of the Atlanta Teabag festival.
My condolences as well about your flip to "quality" rock. Hope you like lots of DMB, Counting Crows, Nickelback, etc.
