New Book about Georgia Broadcast Legend

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've just finished reading the new autobiography of John W. Jacobs, Jr, the founder of WDUN, Gainesville; "The Longer You Live."

Very enjoyable and provides good insights into why WDUN remains one of the most successful small market radio stations in America...not to mention the fact it does so on the AM band. While I don't have any facts to back it up, my guess is that other than WSB(AM), WDUN probably has the highest revenue any AM station in Georgia.

The book is available through Brenau University Press.
