New Broom at Route 81

Word has it that the NEPA Route 81 Stations have been cleared out of people. Hardly anybody left at WAZL. Mr. Ira Rosenblatt has been very busy gutting the place. So much for bringing radio back to the community!

Not true. The only person no longer there is Pat Ward.

From what I understand, Pat Ward is still General Manager, he just is not on the air anymore to concentrate on management duties. It seems to me that WAZL has been adding personnel lately, not removing them. Some are no longer on the air to concentrate on personnel. (i.e. Saullo is no longer on the air to focus on sales duties).
Edited by dmer on 06/27/05 11:34 AM.

If Ira Whatshisname is running the place, where is Lloyd Roach?

Standing off to the side. He's got no say in the matter. Ira is the ax-man for the investors. The happy days of Route81 NEPA are over! Ira used to be with Telemedia, a previous owner of WAZL. He could care less about the success the properties have had in less than a year, he's interested in what the bean-counters think! Perhaps Lloyd spent too much on WCDL's "state of the art" antenna system!
