New Browns Owner Press Conference

I was sampling The Fan, WKNR and WTAM to hear who would air the conference introducing the new Browns owner (Jimmy Haslam) first, and from what I heard, 1100 appeared to beat out the other two, with 850 a close second. 92.3 was, I believe, third.

The Fan was still in commercial when 'TAM started their coverage. If I am wrong, feel free to say so, but I do think all three each made an effort to go to the conference.

WMMS also carried the presser, making it a foursome (the 2 flagships, and the 2 big sports stations)

On TV, 5 and 19 carried the presser. Oddly enough 3 and STO (the Browns TV partners) didn't.

That is odd 3 didn't carry the conference since they're supposed to be the "official home of the Browns." I guess the tide is turning now that Lerner is no longer the owner.

What about FOX 8? Did they carry or was it online?

Forgot about WMMS since they still air the games (for now at least). I bet they went into coverage around the same time as WTAM or close to it.

8 didn't carry it on air (don't know about online), though they did send weekend sports guy P.J. Ziegler out to Chicago to cover it by phone during the noon news.

3 was airing "Days of Our Lives" during the presser, Jim Donovan was in Chicago to cover it, but I guess they didn't send a camera crew with him (which would also explain STO's absence).

New Browns CEO Joe Banner's having his presser today.

On the radio, WTAM, WMMS, WKNR, and WKRK are all carrying it.

TV-wise, it's on 19 and STO.
