I agree with you. LPAM stations are exactly what smaller communities need. That's truly grass roots and a viable answer to the call for more localized radio, more diversity in ownership, and more attention to COL.

Uhh, isn't that why stations were originally licensed in communities like Shelbyville, Brownsburg, Greenwood, etc?

The FCC is considering these LPAMs because they know they screwed up the first time around by giving away the public frequencies to millionaires to play with like their own personal hobbies with no regard for the communities they were originally licensed to serve.
