You're railing against translators here, but remember that Rahul is the idiot that both applied for the 104.7 translator AND WPDI on 104.7.
WPDI has already relocated to 104.7 from being displaced at 89.3. WPDI is a class D station, meaning it is limited to 10 watts (some area few more watts, grandfathered in)and can be displaced by any full power class of station. He was lucky to get 104.7 at all, as his first application was denied due to not asking clear channel for an interference waiver for 104.3/105.1.
The interference is is own fault. He could shut the translator down if he wants to, but we all know that won't happen.
