New Brunswick 104.7 translator now simulcasting Magic 98.3

Hahaha, good one, "another frequency available in the area".

Rider is near Trenton, which is directly between the NYC and Philadelphia markets. Just for good measure, throw in Allentown-Bethlehem in the mix too.

There's no such thing as another frequency available in the area.

92.9 ;D

They are Pretty much sandwiched in.
Because of WWPR on 107.9 they cannot get a power increase.. Rider Supports many local sports. Not just their own.
so expanding their Coverage Helps. Last Year we set up an App.. so you can hear the station from anywhere, anytime.
If your not aware. The station is not funded by the University. It is supported 100%, from Local businesses, and fundraisers by the student staff.
That is what Makes WRRC a unique non-Com. These kids bust their Butts to keep the station running. My hats off to them.
Hence the Request for a Translator to expand them, would be a nice Gesture from some translator owners to some great young broadcasters….
My donation was building them 2 New studios(Talk and production). and some new Gear…Hoping to rebuild the On-air this summer. If I can get the Time to do it.

Instead, can't 107.7 try to find another frequency available in that area and boost their power?

100.7 W264BT Edison and 104.7 W284BW Franklin Twp. are now both simulcasting 97.1 WQHT-HD2, which dumped HumDesi Radio and is now carrying "Radio Zindagi", based in the San Francisco Bay Area:

I didn't know HD subchannels were allowed to have more than one analog FM translator?

The FCC doesn't discriminate between translators carrying a FM station's analog signal and those carrying its HD subchannels. In both cases there is no limit to how many translators may relay a given primary station.
