Programmer/OM Wanted For CC Atlanta Cluster
CLEAR CHANNEL SVP/Programming - Dir./Operations/ATLANTA CLAY HUNNICUTT tells ALL ACCESS that he is looking for an OM for the ATLANTA cluster, who will also act as PD for WUBL (THE BULL).

As head HOO HAA of Country for all of Clear Channel Clay with a huge budget was able to bring The Bull to right around a 2 share with a Direct competitor LEAVING the market. In the CC world you know what that means, yup, a promotion! Which seems odd.

Good for him, you're not going to find a nicer guy than Clay, but what a tough go of it for Country against Kicks. Will they look for a Country PD/OM or look to another format ???
 
Maybe Neal McGinnley would take the job -----and take the Bull to heights that he took Kicks.

Could Clear Channel come up with what he needs? Let's see, an AJC suscription, a toilet, his own coffee maker, a place to smoke and bring Johnny Gray out of retirement to do all the work....."handle it Bubba, handle it".
 
And "windows" don't forget Norm Schrutt - Neal would need someplace to put his nose!!!
 
Norm has been tinkering with Talents long enough, maybe he should apply for the OM gig as a hobby of sorts. :D

Wasn't this "Peach" before the "Bull"? I could never figure out why they killed that format...Was it really struggling THAT bad against B98.5?
 
I still say an "all-polka" music format would beat anything on the air but, hey, what do I know?

Seriously, if CC really wants to make an impact on the country/radio market just find a way to make their format ENTERTAINING. I like the Bull well enough but even Cledus needs a bit of focus. Talent and never...NEVER take your listeners for granted.

But then, this is Clear Channel...the innovators of the #()%)(&# radio format!
